Tamales and Menudo

Tamales at La Estrella Bakery Inc are made of masa, which is a starchy corn-based type of dough and boiled or steamed in a leaf wrapper, which is taken off before it's consumed. Tamales can be filled with items such as meat, vegetables, fruits, and chilies. We do bulk sales, masa (for making tamales), and Mexican spices. The Mesoamericans ate tamales as early as 8000 BC to 5000 BC. The Mayans, Aztecs, Olmecans, and Toltecans had used tamales as portable foods. Their hunters, armies, and travelers all enjoyed this classic food, and we're sure you will too!
